On behalf of the SEG, the investment and development firm Complemus Real Estate is constructing a custom-designed new office building for the software company Eplan and its subsidiary Cideon Software & Services at the Rheinpark business park.
At the head of the waterfront axis, a building with a gross floor area of 8,700 square meters is currently under construction, of which approximately 8,000 square meters will be office space. SEG is the investor and project owner. Completion of the project is scheduled for October 2027.
Eplan is expanding within the city limits: The internationally active company specializing in engineering software and services in the fields of electrical engineering, automation, and mechatronics is moving from its old address, An der Alten Ziegelei 2, to the Rheinpark. The SEG will purchase, renovate, and re-lease the existing Eplan building (and current headquarters).
With the new building in Rheinpark, Complemus is completing its sixth construction phase in Monheim am Rhein, where the company’s headquarters are also located. For this project as well, Complemus is relying on an energy-efficient overall concept that includes a geothermal heat pump for heating and cooling, a photovoltaic system, and an extensive green roof. The building is to be certified according to the DGNB Gold sustainability standard. Goldbeck West GmbH has been commissioned to carry out the construction work.
